By accessing or using english.cash ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
english.cash is an AI-powered English language learning platform that provides writing practice, speaking analysis, listening comprehension, reading exercises, grammar drills, vocabulary games, and AI tutoring. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content and provide feedback.
You must register for an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
Free Plan: After a 3-day full-access trial, free users may access 1 activity per day (reading, listening, grammar, or vocabulary). Writing practice, speaking analysis, and AI tutor require a paid subscription.
Paid Plans: We offer Daily ($0.99/day) and Monthly ($19.99/month) subscription plans. Student discounts (50% off) are available with valid .edu email verification. Prices are in USD and may change with 30 days notice.
Subscriptions are billed automatically through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@english.cash within 14 days.
You retain ownership of any content you create (essays, recordings, chat messages). By using the Service, you grant us a license to process your content for the purpose of providing AI feedback and improving the Service. We do not sell your content to third parties. Writing submissions, voice recordings, and chat logs are stored to provide your learning history and progress tracking.
The Service uses AI models (Claude by Anthropic, Deepgram for speech) to generate exercises, feedback, and tutoring. AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. Scores and feedback are for learning purposes and do not constitute official language certifications.
You may not: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; submit content that is offensive, harmful, or violates others' rights; attempt to reverse-engineer the Service; share your account with others; use automated tools to access the Service; paste AI-generated text into writing exercises (this defeats the learning purpose).
The Service, including Cashi the parrot mascot, the english.cash brand, and all AI-generated exercises, are the intellectual property of english.cash. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. english.cash is a product of Eskalate LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, United States.
